For parents, guardians and family

Follow your student's career plan, on their terms.

Foundry is a career mentor for high-school students 16 and older. When your student adds you, you see the parts of their plan they choose to share: who they're becoming, what they're exploring and what they've tried.

How it works

  • Your student adds you

In the Foundry app, your student adds you with your email address.

  • You sign in to Foundry Connect

You get a code by email to sign in at foundryconnect.me. No password and nothing to install.

  • You see what they share

Their Portrait, the paths they're exploring, their story and next steps: whichever parts they choose. They can turn any part off, any time.

  • You send encouragement

A note you send shows up right in your student's app.

English or Spanish

A student can talk with Foundry in English while a parent, guardian or other family member reads their Portrait in Spanish.

Honest numbers

Real ranges for what programs cost and what careers pay. Never a sales pitch.

More options, not fewer

Foundry never steers a student away from college. A student who chooses a degree is a success too.

Private by default

Nothing reaches an adult until the student adds them, and the student can turn off any part, or stop sharing, in one tap.

Safety built in

If a student signals a crisis, Foundry responds with care and points to real help like 988. Notes from adults are screened, and students can report or block.

What it costs

Adding a parent, guardian or other family member is always free. Your student can download Foundry free and start at no cost: the conversation, their Portrait and a first career path with real next steps. Foundry+, or an access code from their school, unlocks more paths, open-ended conversations with the mentor and the Foundry Index of technical schools and programs.
